India (Widespread), Bangladesh, Myanmar.
Vector
T. indianus is a vector of Anthrax, Bacillus anthracis (Rao & Mohiyudeen, 1958)
Diagnosis
A large (2.5-2.7cm) reddish-brown species with triangular white haired spots on segments 2-5, pale yellow tibiae with white hairs. Head with frontal callus well developed with an elongate linear extension. Basicosta of wing setose, wing elongate, tinged yellow brown.
