Diagnosis
Stone (1975) put T. dorsilinea Wiedemann as synonym of T. striatus while T.bicallosus and T. trichinopolis Ricardo as synonyms of T. macer (Bigot). Burton reexamined all these species and revealed dorsilinea as a valid species synonymising T. macer, T.bicallosus, T. trichinopolis, with it. It is close to T. jucundus Wiedemann in having distinct mesonotal sublateral stripes crossing the entire scutum and scutellum but is readily separated in having the basal callus of females greyisgh brown ; sub cllus and upper cheeks yellowish brown tomentose ; fore tibiae and tarsi uniformly yellow ; sublateral abdominal stripes on segments 1-5.
